A powerful new performance work by Milk Crate Theatre and the residents of Waterloo Housing Estate.
How is home possible when it could be gone tomorrow?
For six years the residents of the Waterloo Housing Estate have been on standby to pack up and leave. Someone has a plan for the future, they are told. Nobody knows exactly who this future will be for. The only certainty is that one day, tomorrow or years from now, they will all receive a letter telling them their fate.
Join Milk Crate Theatre and residents of the Waterloo Housing Estate for performance and exhibition exploring how it feels to be kept on hold for so long.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IN LIGHT OF RECENT COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION OF COVID-19, WE HAVE POSTPONED THE PERFORMANCE SEASON OF INTERIM THAT WAS DUE TO BE STAGED FROM WEDNESDAY, JUNE 30 2021. WE ARE CURRENTLY WORKING WITH THE COMMUNITY IN WATERLOO AND VENUES TO CONFIRM NEW DATES FOR THE PERFORMANCE SEASON, WHICH WE HOPE WILL BE IN THE NOT-TOO-DISTANT FUTURE.
THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO SHOWED THEIR SUPPORT BY SECURING THEIR TICKET. WE ARE SO APPRECIATIVE, AND LOOK FORWARD TO SHARING THIS SPECIAL WORK WITH YOU ALL VERY SOON.
FROM ALL OF US HERE AT MILK CRATE THEATRE - STAY SAFE AND WELL, AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT.
This project is facilitated by Artists James Dalton and Bethany Simons
