WEST: Let’s Fly
For Young People in the Lithgow Region.
Age range is from 11 years – 17 years old (however not limited to)
This workshop empowers youth through theatre, dance and puppetry – building skills in self-expression, communication, devising work and performance techniques. Participants will explore movement, storytelling and collaboration, fostering confidence and teamwork in a supportive environment.
Throughout the program, Young Artists will develop interests of their own, which could include: writing, choreography, filmmaking, performance and production, culminating in the creation and sharing of their own stories.
No experience necessary – just curiosity!
It’s an opportunity for Young People to learn and be exposed to something new, to have fun, spark creativity and form new connections.
This workshop series is led by local Facilitating Artists Renata Commisso and Bria McCarthy, supported by Youth Workers at LINC
