Olivia Aleksoski

Olivia is super excited to be working with Milk Crate Theatre and all it's collaborators. Olivia is an emerging director who's first short film 'Her Own Music' garnered her and the team a lot of buzz at it toured film festivals around the world. Since then Olivia directed the proof of concept for the TV series 'Bedlam' (writ. Alexander Richmond) and has begun shooting her first documentary which explores inter-generational queer stories and shared grief. Olivia and the team behind 'Her Own Music' were selected to receive funding through Every Voice 2022, a joint initiative between Screen Australia, NZ On Air and TikTok. They are developing a short film series 'Work Wife', a queer rom com musical, slated to be exclusively on TikTok by the end of 2023. Olivia has also been hired by AFTRS to direct the short film 'BoyMode', a trans feminine coming of age short film by emerging masters of screenwriting student NJ Ryan. She is excited to be in pre-production for her first music video for emerging singer-songwriter Elva Ray. Olivia graduated from the Actor's Centre Australia in 2017 and still works as an actor in theatre around Sydney.
