Milk Crate Theatre is able to offer a number of unique ways of providing community consultation and engagement through theatre and creative arts. If you are interested, please contact CEO Jodie Wainwright at jodie@milkcratetheatre.com for more information.
Milk Crate Theatre offers drop-in workshops to participants in Inner Sydney and Western Sydney. We are not funded to offer counselling or case management, and crisis support should be utilised from other services better able to serve this need. We have a Social Worker on staff who can refer and provide social support, however it is expected that should participants have increased mental health/crisis needs, they will be supported elsewhere.
Milk Crate operates within Community Arts and Cultural Development frameworks and at commencement of our programs, we hope participants will advise the team of their support needs. Facilitators are trained to adapt workshops to the needs of the group.
At every workshop, you will need to sign in. In addition, please let our Social Worker know via email at socialworker@milkcratetheatre.com that would like to participate the State Debt Recovery Work and Development order to reduce your debt through our workshops.
