"I am most grateful for the opportunity Milk Crate gave me to work so hands on with [their] projects. Milk Crate's practice of leaving no one on the sidelines I think is invaluable while trying to build a piece inclusive of the whole community...I also feel confident that I can bring my experience... into my other work, especially methods of ensuring participants voices are in the forefront of every endeavor [sic]. Finally, I’m grateful for all the performers that I met with whom I was able to share rehearsal space and the stage with! "
