Zoe Hogan

Facilitating Artist

Zoe Hogan is a community artists and playwright. Zoe has worked in various education and community contexts in Australia, Timor-Leste, Greece and the UK.

As former Director of Education & Community Partnerships at Sydney Theatre Company, Zoe led the delivery of all education and community programs, including the development of the award-winning 'Connected' program. A book on the program, 'Connecting through Drama: Drama and literacy for learning English as an additional language', co-written with Victoria Campbell, was published by Currency Press in 2022.

Zoe's plays have been performed and showcased at Belvoir's 25A, KXT's Storytelling Festival, Buenos Aires Youth Biennale (Argentina), Women Playwrights International Conference (Sweden), ATYP, New Theatre and Playwriting Australia's National Play Festival.

Zoe is the recipient of The Lloyd Martin Travelling Scholarship for Emerging Arts Leaders from Sydney Opera House.

Name, Title

In all that we do, we acknowledge that the foundations of Milk Crate Theatre are on Gadigal Land of the Eora Nation and that wherever we create, we walk in the footprints of the ancestors that were here before us. We pay respect to Elders past, present and to walk side by side, hand in hand for a healing future.
