MILK CRATE THEATRE: A RETROSPECTIVE
PERFORMANCE EVENING

On Tuesday May 17 2022, Milk Crate Theatre hosted a magnificent performance night at Sydney Town Hall, celebrating the key moments from our rich history, with audience members enjoying a night of Theatre, Cabaret, Film and more!

We reflected on a remarkable history of socially relevant and paradigm-shifting performance work. As a key theatre company making work specifically by and with people with lived experience of homelessness, mental health issues and disability, this retrospective also represented the integral part Milk Crate Theatre has played in the development of community arts and cultural development in Australia.
