CELEBRATING 23 YEARS
OF MILK CRATE THEATRE

In its 23rd year, Milk Crate Theatre looks back on a remarkable two-decade history of socially relevant and paradigm-shifting performance work. As a key theatre company making work specifically by and with people with lived experience of homelessness, mental health issues and disability, this retrospective also represents the integral part Milk Crate Theatre has played in the development of community arts and cultural development in Australia.

In all that we do, we acknowledge that the foundations of Milk Crate Theatre are on Gadigal Land of the Eora Nation and that wherever we create, we walk in the footprints of the ancestors that were here before us. We pay respect to Elders past, present and to walk side by side, hand in hand for a healing future.
